COMING SOON Silver Academy Awards for Director (1927/28 - 2015)
I absolutely love your work. I've been following for almost à decade now, but you have speed your videos too much, we can't barely appreciate the phenomenal acting. I know you're trying to make the music fit, but maybe it would be better to ad à third score rather than increasing the spped. Love from Paris
5:45 Maggie Smith For Gosford Park 👌🔥
Next you should do a series of 6th NOMINATIONS, for actors who should have been nominated each year, but didn't make the final 5.
@@johnfregosi6202 good idea!!!
I love the way you put Sean Penn for Dead Man Walking
I'm in awe and thankful to you, Andres for sharing this video!!!
Whoopi Goldberg should’ve won for The Color Purple. An amazing performance 🙌
YES YES YES! I had goosebumps while watching this video. I'm more familiar with the performances in the 70's until the recent winners and agree with most of your choices. Kudos!
Amazing performance of Sharon Stone in Casino. Susan Sarandon was far superior in other roles not in that one. The only one that rival with Stone that year was Elizabeth Shue in Leaving Las Vegas. But Sharon Stone was for sure one of the worst mistakes made by the Academy for not recognition. She was a force of nature in Casino. She gave the flesh, the bones and soul for that unforgettable Ginger
Wonderful, compelling selection of extracts of amazing performances, of which I've seen 38/98, and really love the selection of Paul Giamatti for these more recent Oscars. Many of these on the list should have been the winners in their corresponding years.
many of them should have won
Paul Giamatti would have made such a great winner! In this year's winner I'm more than fine too but Paul would have been such a delightful surprise!
Giamatti, Banderas, Chalamet, Riz Ahmed, Garfield, Fassbender... Some of my favorite male performances right here
Is Jeffrey your Bronze?
Great choices but I thought you would give silver oscar 1960 to Shirley for Apartment
@@SohamGupta-qz4jd she is my bronze
3:06 would someone let me know what beautiful song this is, and from what film?
It’s from Cloud Atlas.
@@jeremystubbs1980 Wow thanks! I didn’t realize that. I love it so much!!!
Definitivamente Paul Giamatti era el plata. Todos los planos mostrados definen sus mejores momentos en The Holdovers.
Great thumbnail from one of my favourite performances ever. He should have won that year. Too bad Hopkins was nominated in the wrong category.
almost all of them deserved gold and not silver
1982, 1985, 1998, 2002, 2008, 2013, 2014, all Should've won
1977, 1984, 1994, 1998, should've won
1986, 1987, 1989, 1993, 1999, 2004, 2014, 2017 (Margot Robbie), 2019, & 2020 ALL should've been the actual winners
The 70's were truly the De Niro and Pacino era! ❤️
Superb video as always. I love your content so much
In 2020, i think you should have given Chadwick Boseman and in 2022 for Austin Butler . 2023 is perfect 👌
I love your videos, maybe you can make a video for your personal silver best pictures
I was dreading it was going to be “Maestro” 😅. Great choice!
I agree, Paul Giamatti is the definite silver Oscar of 2023 just below Murphy for Oppenheimer.
I love him in Sideways
The best….you are the best at this
Amazing selection. But I feel weird about Ellen Burstyn being a lead, let alone winning for THE EXORCIST.. For me she was a supporting role, the lead were Jason Miller (Father Damian) and Linda Blair (Regan).
🎥 Spoiler Blocker 🍿
Didn't expect the 'See ya' at the end. Wonderful video as always!❤
That last clip tho🥹
Minor issue: you did spell verdict wrong
"Veredict." Mmm.
"See ya." Beautiful ending as always. Giamatti is a fine runner-up choice. Next up: Silver Director?
The Holdovers ❤🎥
Let me say that these videos have been blowing up in views and I’m always happy to see that. And also with the exception with Best Supporting Actor, my predictions have been right. 👍
First like! Always a fan! Here is hoping to a silver best picture video! :)
Share such similar tastes I really thought you were going to go for Elisabeth Shue in Leaving Las Vegas for 1995.
You have a good eye, more than most......some really brave (and worthwhile) choices.Finally.
I just watched The Heiress with Olivia DeHavilland, AMAZING. Just amazing.
Amazing🥰👍🏻
Best actress for 1939 not olivia, in gone with the wind, it was black actress i think
@@mimycusona9536 this is the Silver Oscar (Second places chosen by me), the video with the Oscar winners is also here in my channel.

My only addition would be that I would prefer Greg Kinnear in As Good as it Gets in 1998. I thought that was such a beautiful performance.
@@Rb1330 he is my Bronze
Bette Midler and Mary Tyler Moore, two of the greatest performances of all time, in my opinion.
Glenn Close should have won the Oscar at least once!
Great list. Difficult choices ! Leo DiCaprio for "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" could have been on this list, but Ralph Fiennes was indeed exceptionnal as well in TSL !
Beautiful video and great choices. I was hoping to see Fernanda Montenegro's name in 1998 (as I was back then in 1999 cerimony) but Cate Blanchett was amazing as well.
@@wabirob1 Fernanda is my Bronze
Some of these actresses have really performed better than the winning actresses of the respective years 😢
I'm glad you put Sandra Huller instead of Lily Gladstone! Lily would have made an excellent Best supporting actress winner but most definitely not a Best Actress one....
